I’ve finally started the interning part of my summer, and so far it was been very very relaxing. I work long-distance for The Foundation for Hellenic World, which is in Athens, so yesterday my partner Efi and I went to Athens to visit the office. The rest of the time we’ll just work at the Center here in Nafplion.
The bus ride to Athens was very long because it stopped at every tiny little village on the way. (I pretty much slept the whole way.) The subway was very, very rickety and old. But the view it had was amazing; Athens just felt like a giant park! From where we got out on the subway, I could see the Acropolis in the distance:
